Summer is coming , it's time to achieve some serious body goals! Taking care of the skin on your body is just as important as taking care of the skin on your face. Fun fact: Your skin is the largest organ. It's important to the care of the skin from your face to your toes. In this thread, you'll see different product that you can use to treat hyperpigmentation, as well as dry and irritated skin.

For starters, Tree Hut scrubs are NOT that bad. I know that it's a fan fave right now with all the interaction and influence from social media. But I promise you, there are better options. With skin care, chemicals are really the way to go! he word is very scary I know, but trust me it's so worth it. TRUST ME!

My current scrub is Sebrazil "Bar in a Jar" with an exfoliating brush!

It's a combination of Salicylic & Lactic asides to target hyperpigmentation & helps treat keratosis pillars also known as "chicken skin" or the "dots on your legs".

If you're more interested in a scrub like feel, First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser is a great product. It''s a combination of chemical & physical exfoliation. Beads helps release flakey skin, white glycolic & lactic acids help improve texture and appearance of the skin making it brighter.

As for focus on hyperpigmentation, PFB Vanish & Chromabright is really THAT girl! Any unwanted hyperpigmentation, the roll on serum helps dark spots & ingrown. Your skin may peel, which is normal. But just as exfoliation is important, it's important to keep the skin hydrated.

Before we get into hydration, let me just start off by saying that African shea butter is NOT HYDRATING your skin. It is making you greasy. If you ever used the product, you would notice that the product sits on top of the skin; rather than absorbing.

As a DRY skin girl, let me tell you about my favorite product.

The Chemistry Brand Tub of Hyaluronic Acid contains a HIGH level of hyaluronic acid which retains moisture in your skin. Use on your skin while damp (this rules applies for body butters as well).

It's only right I touch the holy grail in my routine. Especially for my eczema. The Gymed Arnica + Healing Cream is amazing for dry patches, inflammation & swelling skin. My eczema can get very irritated and this product is 10/10 for it!!

Before I forget! If you are someone who suffers from body acne, Saints Active Body Wash is top tier! It also helps treat texture & removes dead skin. to end the thread, I will make it known that I'm personally a fan of body oil. As we all know, oil locks in moisture. It does NOT moisturize your skin. Neutrogena body oil keeps my skin silky and smooth. This would be your LAST step. Very light on the skin!
